Visitors visiting Jeju from today until the 4th of the month following the end of the Chuseok holiday must wear a mask during their stay.

This is because, ahead of the Chuseok holiday, special administrative measures to quarantine Corona 19 were implemented in Jeju.

Upon arrival at Jeju Airport, you will be immediately tested for fever, and if it exceeds 37.5 degrees, it will be classified as a fever symptom and you must unconditionally undergo a corona 19 diagnostic test.

Along with this, those with fever who have undergone a corona19 diagnostic test are obligated to quarantine until the results are determined.

Today, more than 27,000 tourists and returnees arrived in Jeju on a flight arriving at Jeju International Airport, all of which are subject to special administrative measures.

Jeju Island is expected to see a total of 300,000 tourists visiting Jeju from today until the Chuseok holiday and the National Foundation Day holiday (October 9-11).

Accordingly, special administrative measures were taken on the 23rd to prevent the re-proliferation of Corona 19 in the metropolitan area from leading to Jeju.

If the province violates the special administrative measures, it has decided to file a criminal charge for violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, and to claim the right to remedy the cost of quarantine.

The province also initiated administrative measures requiring the wearing of masks when boarding passenger ships, cruise ships, cruise ships, fishing boats, etc.
