Yesterday (17th), there were 91 new corona19 confirmed cases in Korea, approaching three digits. At the SRC Rehabilitation Hospital in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi-do, where a group infection was confirmed yesterday, 16 more were confirmed, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to 48.

Yesterday, the number of new corona 19 confirmed cases increased by 91, of which 71 cases in Korea were counted.
By region, there were 18 confirmed cases in Seoul, 48 in Gyeonggi and 1 in Incheon, with 67 confirmed in the metropolitan area, 2 in Busan, and 1 in Daejeon and Gangwon.
With one corona19 patient killed yesterday, the cumulative death toll rose to 444.
While small-scale group infections continue in hospitals, 16 additional patients, including patients and medical staff, were confirmed overnight at SRC Rehabilitation Hospital in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, and the number of related confirmed cases increased to 48.
The two wards in which the caregivers, who are presumed to be the first confirmed cases of the hospital, worked are in cohort quarantine, but there is a possibility that the number of confirmed cases will increase further as hospital staff and patients are undergoing full examination.
In addition, at the Master Plus Rehabilitation Hospital in Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province, where group infection occurred earlier, three additional patients, including patients and caregivers, who were quarantined, increased the number of confirmed cases to 66.
From next week, the quarantine authorities plan to conduct a total inspection of 160,000 people in nursing facilities in the metropolitan area.
