Spotify now displays lyrics on its mobile app

Good news for karaoke fans!

Spotify now offers to display lyrics when listening to a song.

The music streaming service announced the news this Thursday on Twitter.

The functionality is being deployed in France only on the mobile application under iOS and Android, specifies

A very simple manipulation

To scroll through the text of the song currently playing, just find the “Lyrics” button at the bottom of the screen and slide your finger up to bring up the lyrics.

These scroll highlighted as the song progresses.

Note that this feature was already present on Deezer, the competitor application of Spotify.
