A veiled Muslim woman was subjected to a racist attack by an extremist citizen in the Austrian capital Vienna.
In an incident that reflects the rise of Islamophobia in this country, Bara'a Bulant was racistly attacked by a woman while riding a public bus.
Anadolu Agency said that the attack was last Friday, as the assailant woman spat on Bulant, in addition to trying to pull her veil and remove it while making racist expressions.
The agency stated that Bulant had published her story through the media, which caused a state of wide interaction with her.
She indicated that Bulant had taken the necessary legal measures to hold the woman responsible for the racist attack to account.
