Ski jumper Markus Eisenbichler suffered a setback after his outstanding Four Hills Tournament and was disqualified in qualifying for the World Cup in Val di Fiemme, Italy. The Tourneezweiten was a non-compliant suit to doom, so that must watch the 27-year-old in the first competition on Saturday (16 clock / ZDF and Eurosport).

Eisenbichler, who was first in the preliminary round as the best DSV jumper in eighth place, thus loses the chance of important World Cup points. In qualifying for the second competition on Sunday, he may compete again.

The other German jumpers showed solid performances. Third-placed Stephan Leyhe finished eighth, Engelberg winner Karl Geiger finished ninth. Tournament winner Ryoyu Kobayashi won the qualification confidently with a jump on 134.5 meters. The Japanese takes so after his sixth World Cup victory in series.
