According to the official Weibo account of the Fire Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Emergency Management, after the 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Hanyuan County, Ya'an, Sichuan Province, the Sichuan Fire Rescue Corps dispatched 144 people, 33 vehicles and 2 dogs from the Ya'an Detachment to the epicenter.
After telephone verification with relevant personnel in Yidong Township and surrounding Liyuan Township, Sanjiao Township, and Xixi Township, the earthquake caused slight damage to a small number of houses, and there were no reports of casualties or house collapse.
At present, the traffic roads to the epicentre are smooth, the communication and electricity at the epicenter are normal, and disaster investigations are being carried out in the neighboring areas.
