Shizuoka Prefecture and others announced on the 31st that it was confirmed that 168 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
This was the highest number ever announced on the 1st, 41 more than 127 on January 10th, the highest number ever.
The number of confirmed infections in Shizuoka Prefecture is now 18,85.
Hamamatsu City also announced that one infected patient had died.
The number of people who died in Shizuoka Prefecture is 157.
