Shenzhen Airport related personnel diagnosed with new crown, epidemic prevention upgrade, a large number of flights cancelled

The epidemic situation in Guangzhou stopped slightly, and a new situation emerged in Shenzhen.

Yesterday, a notice about a positive nucleic acid test result of a catering service staff in the terminal of Shenzhen Baoan Airport was blown up on major communication platforms.

On June 18, the owners and tenants of Fuwei Community, Bao'an District, Shenzhen received a notification of nucleic acid testing for all employees early in the morning.

From a geographical point of view, Fuwei Community is located to the northeast of Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, just across the road.

Late at night on the 18th, the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission (hereinafter referred to as the "Shenzhen Health Commission") confirmed the news.

The Shenzhen Health Commission reported that Zhu, a waiter in a restaurant at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, lives in Xinlantian Apartment, No. 71, Shangzhu Street, Fuyong, Bao'an District.

In the investigation of key populations, the initial nucleic acid test was positive on June 17; the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention also reviewed positive on June 18, and was then transferred to the emergency hospital area of the Third People’s Hospital for isolation and treatment, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (Lightweight).

After preliminary investigation, the trajectories of Zhu’s activity before the positive report were: Lijiacai Restaurant and Zhou Heiya in Terminal T3 of the airport; Lingxiao Garden Bus Station and nearby snack bars; Junyong Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic and nearby hand cake shops; Xingbohui Mass-market KTV (Fuyong Store); Gepai Meiye (Fuwei Store); Chongqing Grandma's Noodle Restaurant (Fuyong Store); Xiashiwei Vegetable Market, etc.

Up to now, 110 people in close contact with Zhu have been identified, all of whom have been brought into centralized isolation and observation.

It is worth noting that on June 18, the Shenzhen Centers for Disease Control and Prevention completed Zhu's new coronavirus gene sequencing. The virus carried by Zhu and the 3 positive cases imported by CA868 international flight and the confirmed case Jiang were reported on June 14. They are completely homologous and are all Delta mutant strains (B.1.617.2).

Flight CA868 departed from the South African city of Johannesburg and arrived in Shenzhen on June 10.

As of 24:00 on June 15th, a total of 32 imported cases from abroad, 17 confirmed and 15 asymptomatic infections have been detected on this flight.

At the same time, on June 14, Jiang, who was responsible for the epidemiological investigation of the inbound passengers of the flight, was diagnosed; on June 18, Zhu, a waiter at a restaurant at Bao'an Airport, was diagnosed as the key population for investigation.

At the same time, on June 18, the source of infection of another person diagnosed with the new crown in Shenzhen, Xiao Mou, has not yet been announced, but according to public information, his work place is in Block A of the Aerospace Science and Technology Plaza in Houhai, Nanshan District, and the activity track before the positive report is reported. There is an airport transportation center.

The newly confirmed case virus is 100% homologous to Jiang

Jiang Mou, a staff member who was in charge of the epidemiological investigation of incoming passengers on international flight CA868 on June 10, was also diagnosed with the new crown.

On the morning of June 14, Jiang developed a runny nose and fever. The new coronavirus nucleic acid test was initially positive. After review by the Shenzhen Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, he was determined to be a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).

The gene sequencing results of Jiang and Zhu's new coronavirus are 100% homologous to those of the three passengers on the flight with positive nucleic acids, and they are both new coronavirus Delta variants.

On June 15th, the Shenzhen Health Commission stated that the Shenzhen Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had completed the 3 cases of imported positive cases reported on flight CA868 and the sequencing of Jiang’s new coronavirus gene. The results of the 4 cases were 100% homologous, and they were all new crowns. Virus Delta mutant strain (B.1.617.2), it can be determined that Jiang is a related case of imported confirmed cases overseas on flight CA868 on June 10.

On June 18, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention completed Zhu's new coronavirus gene sequencing. The virus carried by Zhu was completely homologous to the three positive cases imported by CA868 international flight and the confirmed case Jiang reported on June 14. Delta mutant strain (B.1.617.2).

The Delta mutant strain was first discovered in India. Officials from the World Health Organization (WHO) said that the mutant strain Delta first discovered in India has spread to more than 80 countries and continues to mutate while spreading globally.

It was the virus that caused the Guangzhou epidemic recently.

On June 17, Li Jian, deputy general manager of Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd., said in an interview with Shenzhen Satellite TV that in response to the recent epidemic, the airport has made special enhancements, including expanding the concentrated living area of staff, and adopting external isolation in dormitories. The hotel's basically the same measures are controlled by the staff, which is very strict.

It is understood that starting from March 2020, Shenzhen Airport has adopted full-process closed-loop management for overseas passengers arriving in Shenzhen.

The use of dedicated passages and closed management of the entire line also means that international flight personnel will not cross with passengers on domestic flights.

Passengers arriving on an international flight will undergo nucleic acid testing after getting off the plane, and then directly sent to the isolated hotel for closed-loop management of the entire process; the flight crew will be sent to the crew’s centralized rest area for closed-loop management from the time they enter the country.

Epidemic prevention upgrades, a large number of flights cancelled
