Sharjah Cooperative Provides scholarships worth 500,000 dirhams for "Tawuniya" card holders
The Sharjah Cooperative announced today that it will offer scholarships worth 500,000 dirhams in cash to shoppers from its branches throughout the Emirate of Sharjah or through its online shopping website, as part of raffle draws during its special offers on the occasion of the back to school season.
The CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative, Majid Salem Al-Junaid, stated that "providing scholarships comes as a commitment to social responsibility towards members of society. The Sharjah Cooperative has allocated a budget of 500,000 dirhams for its offers in conjunction with the back to school season, which will continue until September 5, so that all A shopper of 300 dirhams or more gets an opportunity to enter the draw, including 70 winners who hold cooperative cards, with scholarships worth 10 thousand dirhams for gold card holders, and 5 thousand dirhams for silver and white card holders.
He pointed out that "the offers of back-to-school discounts include discounts of up to 60%, on fresh products, household items and school supplies."
He added, "In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Cooperative announced the application of a remote work system for female employees who have children in the educational stages of the ninth grade and below, With the granting of exceptional leave during the first week of the start of studies, for the academic year 2020-2021.
