Sharjah Cooperative announced the start of implementing the food basket project in cooperation and coordination with the Sharjah Charitable Association for 750 families, at a cost of approximately 600,000 dirhams, with the aim of providing food supplies to families in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.

The CEO of Sharjah Cooperative, Majid Al Junaid, explained that "the initiative comes within the directives of the board of directors, in cooperation and coordination with the Sharjah Charity Association, to provide community service to families, and alleviate the burdens for them, in line with the directions of good leadership," noting to "the role of the Sharjah Charity Association, and its contribution in providing Direct support to help the largest number of hard-liners and the vulnerable, especially in the current circumstances. "

He stated that the number of families benefiting from this project reaches more than 750 families, and will include baskets on all basic items, which families need throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
