The Shanghai Super Short Laser Experiment Device (also known as "Xihe Laser Device") project has been initially opened and will be used by the Guangfeng Multi-scale Science Institute and the relevant research groups of Central South University to complete physical experiments. Proton acceleration, electron acceleration, high Experiments such as the generation of high-order harmonics of brightness plasma and attosecond pulses are underway.

  Relying on this project, Shanghai Institute of Optics and Mechanics has successfully developed core devices such as the world's largest diameter Ti:Sapphire crystal.

  In the future, the project will be open to universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises at home and abroad, providing advanced material science and life science research methods.
