Seven Islamists of Hizb ut-Tahrir detained in Crimea

“FSB officers, in cooperation with units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard in the Republic of Crimea, prevented the activities of the cell of the international terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami ...”, the intelligence service said.

The FSB specified that three leaders and four ordinary active members of the group were detained.

In December, nine members of Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami were detained in Moscow and Chelyabinsk *.
