In central Manhattan, New York, seven Asian women were suddenly beaten by a man on the street for about two hours until 8:30 pm on the 27th of last month. The three were treated in hospitals and ambulances.



In these cases, New York City Police announced on the 2nd that they had arrested a 28-year-old white man, Stephen Zajonk, who lives in Manhattan, for crimes based on prejudice against race and religion, and allegations of hate crimes. ..



According to the police, the victims were Asian women between the ages of 19 and 57, all of whom said they had no acquaintance with the suspect, and the police released surveillance camera footage. I was proceeding with the investigation.



Last year, the number of violent incidents against Asian residents increased 4.6 times in New York City from the previous year, and there have been a series of incidents in which Asian women have been harmed since the beginning of the year.
