In 2019, Tesla announced its intention to build its “Gigafactory” in the Brandenburg region, near Berlin.
Since then the problems seem to befall this project: the brand has sparked outcry from local associations who fear the destruction of the habitat of lizards and snakes, or failures related to wastewater treatment.
Covering an area of 300 hectares, the plant is expected to produce 500,000 vehicles per year and an incredible number of batteries.
If its opening was scheduled for July, it will be delayed because Tesla has still not received a final license.
However, major works have already been undertaken!
