TBS, which started as a transportation broadcasting headquarters under the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 1990, established a separate foundation, the 'Seoul Media Foundation TBS' in February of last year and became independent from Seoul, but it was not fully financially independent, relying on donations from the city of Seoul for more than 70% of its income. is.
