Senator Pushkov reacted to Johnson's words about the end of the hydrocarbon party for the G7

The senator announced this in his Telegram channel. 

“I think here in the G7… we all realize that the party is over for Russian hydrocarbons.

Everyone is looking for ways to adapt,” Johnson said earlier in an interview with CNN.

The Federation Council member reminded Johnson that it would be extremely difficult to replace Russia as a supplier of gas to Europe.

“Somewhere else,” if Johnson is not aware, there is no free and affordable carbon fuel.

Establishing a “new energy” in Europe will be extremely painful for many countries and will require many years of restructuring,” he said. 

In addition, according to Pushkov, other supplier countries will not be able to replace Russia.

This cannot be done either with an agreement with Qatar or with Algeria.

Earlier, The New York Times wrote that the United States and European countries did not expect the economic pressure they are under after the imposition of sanctions against Russia.
