Saudi Arabia allows pilgrims to submit requests electronically from abroad

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed today, Saturday, the availability of designing the Umrah program and applying for issuing visas through the approved electronic platforms for Umrah services for individuals coming from outside the Kingdom.

The ministry reviewed, through its official account on the "Twitter" website today, the registration steps that a pilgrim coming from outside the Kingdom must follow to obtain a visa.

The registration included three basic steps, which included entering one of the approved electronic platforms for Umrah services for individuals, designing the Umrah program, which includes housing and transportation services, in addition to completing the visa requirements that will be issued electronically so that the pilgrim can print it directly.

The ministry indicated that the conditions for Umrah this year included an exceptional clause related to the issuance of entry permits to the Two Holy Mosques for those over seven years old, which is the first time that the Kingdom has taken this step.
