Saudi Arabia: Permission to perform Umrah for those coming from abroad aged 12 years and over

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the age groups allowed to perform Umrah and pray in the Two Holy Mosques and visit the honorable kindergarten are for those aged 12 years and over.

The ministry added in a statement today, Tuesday, that this includes Saudis and residents inside the Kingdom, and citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and those coming from abroad with various types of visas, with the condition that the status of "protected" appears in the "Tawakulna" application.

With regard to the citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, she stressed that they must register proof of the vaccine on the “Muqeem” platform before entering Saudi Arabia, and register in the “Tawakkalna” and “Umrah” applications after arriving in the Kingdom, and after updating the health status, Umrah and prayers permits can be booked and visit.

As for those coming from abroad with various types of visas, Hajj and Umrah reported that they must register proof of the vaccine on the “Qudoom” platform before entering Saudi Arabia, and register in the “Tawakkalna wa Umrah” applications after arriving in the Kingdom.

After updating the health status, Umrah, prayers and visit permits can be reserved, noting that the Umrah Company will issue the necessary permits for pilgrims coming with an Umrah visa from outside Saudi Arabia.
