May 23, 2020A fire broke out at Pier 45 in San Francisco. More than 125 firefighters are busy extinguishing it.

A quarter of the pier in the famous Fisherman's Wharf neighborhood "has been lost in the flames," according to the US fire department city department.

No injuries were reported. The pier has been completely evacuated. Fisherman's Wharf is one of the tourist areas par excellence of the city for its museums and restaurants. Many of the ferries leave for Alcatraz Island from the pier.
