The Emirati champion, nicknamed “The Golden Boy”, Salem Abdul Rahman, won the title of the Djerba Masters Championship 2020 for Flash Chess, the day before yesterday, which was held via remote communication technology, with the participation of a group of world champions, including nine senior international professors from seven countries: UAE, France, America, Egypt, Algeria, India and Tunisia.

Salem Abdul Rahman surpassed 12 champions, including the former American runner-up, Gata Kamsky.

The Sharjah club player was able to continue his quarter-final victories by beating French international champion Christian Bauer, then overcoming the Algerian Bilal Belhassen hurdle in the semi-final to face Kamsky and beating him in a decisive round.
