Russia resumes flights with 6 countries

From April 1, Russia will resume flights with six countries: Germany, Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka.

According to Russian media, the Russian Coronavirus Spread Control Committee allowed the resumption of civil aviation flights with the six countries, after they were suspended due to the emerging corona virus pandemic crisis.

The committee said, in a statement today, that Russia will resume flights, as of April 1, with Germany, Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka.

Since last August, Russia has begun to gradually resume air traffic with other countries.

As flights have resumed with Turkey, Tanzania, Switzerland, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, South Korea, Japan, Ethiopia, Finland, Vietnam, India, Qatar, Cuba, Seychelles and the Maldives.
