This decision was taken in response to the unjustified expulsion of the Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Lithuania.
On October 3, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the expulsion of Russian Charge d'Affaires Sergey Ryabokon from the country.
