As noted, helicopters of the aviation group of the 201st military base and aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces are also involved in the transfer of troops and military equipment.

Earlier, on the border with Afghanistan, an active phase of exercises was held with the participation of 2.5 thousand troops from Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

As stated in the Central Military District, during the exercises, for the first time, the use of an interspecific grouping of troops with the massive use of aviation, reconnaissance and fire complexes and landing forces was demonstrated based on the experience gained in Syria.

The Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan said that such anti-terrorist exercises were held for the first time in the history of military cooperation between the three states.
