11 April 2019 The Court of Cassation confirmed the sentence of 4 years and 7 months of imprisonment for the former director of TG4 Emilio Fede and 2 years and 10 months for the former Lombard councilor Nicole Minetti in the Ruby bis trial that has the accusation at the center aiding prostitution for the evenings in Silvio Berlusconi's villa in Arcore.

The stoats have declared the appeals of the defense inadmissible. The sentence issued by the Court of Appeal of Milan on May 7, 2018 is therefore definitive.

Even the deputy pg Pina Casella, in his indictment this morning, had asked for confirmation of the sentences.

Defense Faith: respect for sentence, will go to house arrest
"Judgments must always be respected. I did everything I could to prove the innocence of Emilio Fede," said lawyer Maurizio Paniz, defender of the former director of TG4, after the verdict of the Cassation. Emilio Fede, 87, did not attend today's hearing, but waited for the ruling in Milan. "He will go to house arrest - says his lawyer - as is normal for a person of that age". After the first few months, Fede will be able to apply for probation to social services. Nicole Minetti, on the other hand, sentenced to a lower sentence, will immediately be able to ask for probation.
