“On March 4, Roskomnadzor, based on the decision, sent the administration of the American Internet resource Zello (Zello Inc.) a request to stop sending messages to users that contain false information about the course of a special operation of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of Ukraine,” the message says.
As noted, the administration of Zello did not comply with the requirement of Roskomnadzor within the period established by law.
The press added that “due to the failure of the Zello administration to comply with the requirements of Roskomnadzor, access to this application in Russia will be limited within 24 hours.”
Earlier, the press service of Roskomnadzor reported that access to the social network Twitter in Russia is limited.
Also on March 4, Roskomnadzor decided to block access to Facebook in Russia.
On March 3, the department turned to Telegram with a request to eliminate channels with false data about the Russian military.
As clarified in the RKN, the decision to block YouTube was not made.
