Juventus soccer star Argentine Paulo Dybala crowned the best player in the Italian Football League for the 2019-2020 season after his contribution to leading Juventus to his ninth title successively, beating Portuguese teammate Cristiano Ronaldo who received a great shock after he left empty-handed from the prizes Individual, as well as Dybala outperformed the top scorer of Lazio Cero Imobelli. Dybala scored 11 goals in "Serie A" this season, adding to it seven decisive passes (according to the official website of the Italian League), which contributed to leading the coach Maurizio Sari's battalion to the title despite the modest performance.

Argentine Papo Gomez was named the best midfielder by Atalanta, and the Swedish 20-year-old, Diane Kulosevski, loaned from Juventus to Parma, was the best player for less than 23 years. "The performance evaluation is based on the official statistics of the Serie A League, which represents the objective criterion for the scientific evaluation of the best soccer players in this season, which we have completed with great determination and overcome many difficulties," said league executive Luigi de Siervo in a statement issued on the league's official website.
As for Ronaldo, who was crowned best player last season, he left empty handed in the individual prizes despite scoring 31 goals, and his contribution to four decisive passes in the calcio this season.
