Roscosmos General Director Dmitry Rogozin announced the regular launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Progress MS-17 transport cargo vehicle on board from the Baikonur cosmodrome to the International Space Station (ISS).
"Launch from Baikonur normally," he wrote in Telegram.
According to Roskosmos, the Progress MS-17 spacecraft has been successfully launched into near-earth orbit.
Earlier it became known that Soyuz-2.1a with the Progress MS-17 spacecraft on board launched from Baikonur to the ISS.
