On March 2, local time, at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, a Soyuz-2.1b rocket carrying Britain's OneWeb communications satellite entered the launch pad.

Earlier, OneWeb said it had not decided whether to postpone the March 5 launch due to the international situation, according to CCTV News.

The Russian side confirmed its willingness to fulfill its obligations under the agreement.

However, Rogozin, president of Roscosmos, said on the 2nd that if Russia does not receive assurances that the British OneWeb satellite will not be used for military purposes before 21:30 on March 4, the launch vehicle will be withdrawn from the launch pad.
