Brynäs entered the final series as favorites after playing home the basic series and went undefeated through the playoffs.

But it was Luleå who took home the first final and has connected the grip on the match series after 2-1 at home in Coop Norrbotten Arena.

- Great to start with a win.

It was important for us to win at home and put even more pressure on the opponents.

It was not the most beautiful match, it was a lot of struggle and mistakes out there, but I am damn happy that we take it home, says Luleå's coach Mikael Forsberg.

"Then you are bad out"

Now two matches await in Gävle.

How do you see that challenge?

- Cool.

I hope there will be a large audience.

We like it whether it is at home or away, it will be a completely different energy.

It's a cliché, but we get to enjoy cards now and then there is full focus on the next match.

If you look further ahead, you are bad out.

Before the first final, Brynäs coach Henrik Glaas stated: "I would not want to change teams with Luleå and stand in the second booth if we say so".

See Mikael Forsberg's answer to Glaas in the player above.
