  The so-called disposable income of residents refers to the sum of the residents' final consumption expenditure and savings, that is, the income that residents can use for free disposal, including both cash income and income in kind.

The disposable income of residents in 9 provinces exceeds the national average

  According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters, the national per capita disposable income was 26,265 yuan, a nominal increase of 10.4% over the same period of the previous year, and a real increase of 9.7% after deducting price factors.

  Compared with the “national route”, the per capita disposable income of residents in 9 provinces including Shanghai, Beijing, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Shandong, and Liaoning outperformed the country.

Among them, the per capita disposable income of Shanghai residents is 58,907 yuan, and the per capita disposable income of Beijing is 56,498 yuan, both of which are more than twice the national average!

  Zhejiang, the “old third,” followed closely, with per capita disposable income of 44,712 yuan in the first three quarters; Tianjin, Jiangsu, Guangdong, and Fujian had “30,000 yuan clubs”.   The per capita disposable income of residents in the 12 provinces of Shandong, Liaoning, Chongqing, Inner Mongolia, Anhui, Hunan, Hainan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Hebei are all over 20,000 yuan; the per capita disposable income of residents in the remaining 12 provinces is in the first three quarters Between 15,000 yuan and 20,000 yuan.

  Sino-Singapore Jingwei also noted that the nominal growth rate of per capita disposable income of residents in the 13 provinces of Tibet, Hubei, Yunnan, Anhui, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guizhou, Chongqing, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, and Fujian exceeded the national average.

Among them, Tibet, Hubei, and Yunnan are among the top three in terms of nominal growth rate.

According to data disclosed by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first three quarters, the national per capita wage income of residents was 14,917 yuan, with a nominal growth rate of 10.6%, accounting for 56.79% of per capita disposable income.

  Fang Xiaodan, director of the Household Survey Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, pointed out that the steady growth of wage income has played a "ballast stone" role in increasing residents' income.

Fang Xiaodan's analysis pointed out that in the first three quarters, the national economy continued to recover, the employment priority policy continued to strengthen, the market demand for labor increased, the employment situation of urban and rural residents was steadily improving, the urban surveyed unemployment rate has generally declined since February, and the minimum wage standard has been raised in some areas. As a result, the average monthly wage of rural labor migrants has rebounded, and the wage income of residents has increased steadily.

  In addition, according to the national migrant worker monitoring survey, the scale of rural migrant workers reached 183.03 million at the end of the third quarter, an increase of 3.51 million over the same period last year, and basically restored to the level of the same period in 2019, laying a solid foundation for the steady growth of rural residents’ wage income.

  It is worth noting that, in terms of urban and rural areas, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 35,946 yuan in the first three quarters, a nominal increase of 9.5%, and the actual increase was 8.7% after deducting price factors; the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 13,726 yuan, a nominal increase of 11.6%, deducted Due to price factors, the actual increase was 11.2%.

The nominal and actual growth rates of per capita disposable income of rural residents were 2.1 and 2.5 percentage points faster than that of urban residents, respectively.
