September 15, 2021 British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a government reshuffle this morning to "put together a strong and united team to rebuild the country after the pandemic".

"It has been a privilege to serve as Minister of Education since 2019. Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, I am particularly proud of the reforms."

This is the message entrusted to Twitter by the British minister Gavin Williamson, and which leaves announcing his step backwards in the context of the reshuffle of Boris Johnson's government announced by a source in Downing Street.

The Minister of Justice, Robert Buckland, must also leave his post. Confirming the rumors that had been circulating in the UK media for a few minutes, Buckland on his Twitter profile said he was honored for having served the Tory government and deeply proud of his achievements at the head of the ministry. But his reform program, particularly concerning the prison dossier, would not have achieved the results demanded by the conservative leader.

Among the ministers in the balance is the head of foreign affairs, Dominic Raab, who was targeted for staying on vacation while Afghanistan fell to the Taliban last month.

According to media reports, Undersecretary of International Trade Liz Truss could replace him; an event they were both supposed to attend tonight was canceled a while ago.

Among the names in doubt remain the head of Culture, Oliver Dowden, and that of the Treasury, Kemi Badenoch.
