RER B traffic was interrupted Wednesday evening in Paris and should remain "very disrupted" Thursday, after the derailment of a train, which was not carrying passengers. No one was injured in the accident.

Traffic on line B of the RER in the Paris region will be "extremely disrupted for Thursday and Friday at least" after the derailment on Wednesday evening near the station of Denfert-Rochereau of a train not carrying passengers, announced Thursday the RATP. 

"The interconnection remains suspended at Gare du Nord Thursday", continues the RATP which indicates that the trains will run Thursday morning every 17 minutes between Denfert-Rochereau and Gare du Nord and with a frequency of 15 minutes between Laplace and Massy-Palaiseau, Laplace and Saint-Rémy Les-Chevreuse and between Robinson and Bourg-la-Reine.
