Among the candidates for the French presidential election, there is Éric Zemmour.

A former journalist and essayist with far-right theses, convicted of inciting racial discrimination in 2011 and inciting religious hatred in 2018. Ultranationalist, himself of Jewish faith, his positions against Islam divide and are debated in the French Jewish community.
