The monthly income of computer graduates is higher

According to the report, compared with the income of urban residents, the monthly income of 2019 graduates is significantly higher than the monthly disposable income of urban residents in 2019 (3530 yuan).

  From a professional point of view, the discipline with the highest monthly income for 2019 undergraduate graduates is engineering (5809 yuan), and the lowest is history (4592 yuan). The salaries of undergraduates majoring in computer science, electronic information, and automation are relatively high. The income of self-employed people is higher than the average level of graduates of the same year

  The survey shows that the proportion of self-employment of undergraduate graduates in 2019 is 1.6%, and that of vocational graduates is 3.4%. With the extension of graduation time, the proportion of graduates' self-employment continues to rise. The proportion of self-employed entrepreneurs within half a year of graduation for 2014 undergraduates was 2%, the proportion of self-employed entrepreneurs rose to 4.1% within three years of graduation, and to 4.8% within five years of graduation

  In terms of income, judging from the monthly income of self-employment of university graduates in the past five years, the monthly income of self-employed people continues to be higher than the average level of graduates of the same period.

  Taking undergraduates as an example, the monthly income of 2019 undergraduates of independent entrepreneurship reached 6257 yuan, 817 yuan higher than the average level of undergraduates (5440 yuan). Five years after graduation, the salary advantage of the entrepreneurial group has further expanded. The monthly income of the self-employed group has reached 16,328 yuan, 6487 yuan higher than the average level of undergraduate graduates (9841 yuan).

  In terms of industry selection, "education" is the most important field of self-employment for college students in 2019 (undergraduate: 24.5%, higher vocational: 10.5%), focusing on education and vocational training, primary and secondary education, literature and art, design, sports, etc. aspect.
