In Île-de-France, classified orange, parks and gardens can reopen their gates. A breath of fresh air for residents of the capital and this reopening had been demanded for weeks by Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris. "Finally! Common sense eventually prevailed," reacted the socialist mayor on Twitter. But under what conditions will Parisians be able to return to the parks?

The "highly recommended" mask
From this weekend, it will be possible to go for a walk in certain parks and gardens of the capital. In total, 400 green spaces will gradually reopen their gates. A reopening on which the Paris City Hall has been working for several weeks now.

The municipality should unveil this Friday the terms of access to these spaces as well as the health instructions to be respected. Wearing a mask would not be compulsory but "highly recommended". As for the children's play areas, they will still remain closed, until a solution is found to effectively disinfect the swings and slides.
Like the banks of the Seine, the Bois de Vincennes or the Esplanade des Invalides, gatherings of more than ten people will be prohibited in the parks and gardens of the capital.
