"There is a very important economic dimension, but it's more than that. It's the art of French living". While the containment should gradually end from May 11, many companies are wondering about the aftermath. In particular the culture sector (cinemas, concert halls, bookstores), events and catering, underlines Xavier Bertrand. "In containment, the French are trying to preserve this as much as possible. But in the open air and in the open, we have to find it very quickly," he said. "It is a political priority (...) It has an economic dimension but it is not only that". "The activity will not resume overnight, but this whole sector is a priority"
Referring to the attacks that have struck France in recent years, Xavier Bertrand calls for "preserving the art of living" in French style.
