China News Service, July 3. According to Hong Kong's "Sing Tao Daily" website, writer Shen Xicheng confirmed on social networking sites on the afternoon of the 3rd that the famous writer Ni Kuang died at the age of 87.

  Ni Kuang was born in Shanghai in 1935, and his ancestral home is Zhejiang.

Ni Kuang is widely known as a science fiction novelist. The most well-known is The Wesleyan Series. From 1962 to 2004, he published a total of 145 Wesleyan novels in 42 years.

  Ni Kuang moved to the United States in 1992 and returned to Hong Kong from the United States in 2006.

In 2012, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 31st Hong Kong Film Awards.
