Using the mechanics of the station wagon (1.6 petrol engine + 2 electric motors, all developing 160 hp) and the Captur, the Renault Mégane E-Tech sedan is capable of driving up to 50 km in electric mode thanks to its 9 battery, 8 kWh.
The sedan will thus compete with the plug-in versions of the Seat Leon, and of the future Peugeot 308 scheduled for the end of the year.
Its marketing will be launched next June;
prices have not yet been communicated.
