According to the official Weibo news of the Traffic Police Detachment of the Public Security Bureau of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, at about 6:27 am on September 5th, a public called the police that there was a light truck in the east to west direction of Zhuhai Bridge. The bridge fell into the sea.
Relevant departments immediately rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations.
After preliminary investigation, the vehicle that crashed from the bridge was a Zhuhai-licensed minivan. The vehicle lost control when it drove from the upper east to the west of the Zhuhai Bridge to the middle of the bridge and crashed into the sea.
It is understood that only the driver Xie Mou (male, 33 years old) was on the accident vehicle, and it was raining.
After the incident, the municipal emergency management department immediately organized maritime and water search and rescue departments to search for drivers and vehicles; the public security traffic police department was there to maintain traffic order and investigate the cause of the accident.
