Since 31 October, the recommendations for testing have been amended three times by the Swedish Public Health Agency, a contributing factor to the test chaos according to the regional council.

In addition, the infection is rising and more and more people want to get tested.

Last week, 53,353 tests were analyzed for ongoing covid-19, which is more than twice as many as the week before.

This has meant that home tests are in principle not possible to order right now.

Drive-in tests, collection at pharmacies or sampling buses can still be ordered

The Stockholm Region writes that they are working to expand capacity and find more solutions, for example with boxes where you can pick up and leave your test yourself.

There will also be more pharmacies where agents can pick up tests.
