The recall target is Toyota Motor's "Yaris," "Harrier," "Alphard," and 39 models such as the "Prius," for a total of approximately 111,800 units.
The production period varies depending on the model, but this is from April to last month.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, more than 105,000 of these have a problem with the emergency call device program that notifies location information and enables voice calls in the event of a traffic accident, etc. This means that you may not be able to make voice calls.
So far, no information has been reported that the problem actually occurred.
In addition, during this recall, there is a risk that the hybrid system will stop and it will not be possible to drive with more than 10,000 units of two models, and 160 units of one model will have cracks in the welded part of some parts of the engine and will be discharged. This means that the gas may not meet the national standards.
From the 23rd, Toyota Motor will notify the target people by direct mail etc. and will accept repairs free of charge at dealers nationwide.
