Several brands of ravioli have been recalled by the Rappel Conso site since Monday for a risk of salmonella contamination.

The various trays have been sold in recent weeks in many major brands such as Casino, Spar, Carrefour or Monoprix.

Do not consume

Some pasta trays do contain traces of salmonella and others are suspected.

According to Rappel Conso, the symptoms of an infection in consumers can be the following: "Gastrointestinal disorders (diarrhea, vomiting) of sudden onset often accompanied by fever and headaches which generally occur 6h to 72h after consumption of the contaminated products.

»

In case of appearance of these symptoms, it is strongly advised to consult a doctor.

If nothing suspicious is identified seven days after ingesting the ravioli, there is no need to worry.

The government site invites customers not to consume the offending pasta, to destroy it or bring it back to the store for a refund.
