Rapper 50 Cent is on the front page of the "New York Post", a pro-Trump tabloid, for posting surprising support for Donald Trump on social media.

“I don't want to be reduced to 20 cents,” the rapper quipped, accusing Joe Biden of wanting to raise taxes too much.

Donald Trump received this week, to say the least, unexpected support in his race for re-election to the presidency of the United States: that of rapper 50 Cent.

While watching a

CNBC

channel analysis of

Joe Biden's proposed tax policy, the rapper exclaimed on social media Twitter and Instagram: "What the fuck, vote Trump. [...] 'don't care that Trump doesn't like black people. 62%, you've lost your mind.'

WHAT THE F * CK!

Before going on with a second tweet: "Yeah, I don't want to be 20 cents. 62% is a very, very, bad idea. I don't like it!"

Yeah, i don't want to be 20cent.

62% is a very, very, bad idea.

I do not like it !

According to

CNBC

, the tax rate proposed by Joe Biden for the wealthy would be 62% (excluding deductions, credits and other planned compensations) in California or New York, where the rapper lives.

A complete turnaround for 50 Cent

This is a notable turnaround for 50 Cent, Curtis James Jackson III, real name, who had made fun of the Republican president numerous times in the past.

“This guy is a nightmare… I can't believe he said this bullshit out loud,” he said, for example, when Donald Trump offered to inject himself with disinfectant against the coronavirus.

"You wanted a reality TV host as president. Well, now you're on Survivor," he quipped last March.

Between the nightmare and the taxes, he therefore seems to have chosen.
