The protection objects of this project are 8 pieces of Tang Dynasty brocade and 1 piece of Yuan Dynasty brocade robes, all of which are precious cultural relics unearthed from important cemeteries in Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai, including 1 first-level, 1 second-level, and 3-level 7. pieces.

  It is reported that the Tang Dynasty brocades in this project were all unearthed in the Dulan Tomb of Qinghai. The patterns are vivid, the patterns are basically complete, and the colors are clear. They are typical patterns of the Tubo period. The cultural exchange and trade of the road and the precious physical materials of the Eastern and Western artistic styles; the Yuan Dynasty woven gold robes were unearthed in the Gahai Tombs in Qinghai. Flowers, which were unearthed for the first time in Qinghai, are of great significance to the study of makeup and gold textile technology in the Yuan Dynasty.

  The reporter learned that during the implementation of the project, the technical team of Qinghai Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology insisted on resonating at the same frequency as protection and restoration and subject research, and made full use of modern scientific and technological means to conduct scientific testing and in-depth research on fabric raw materials, dyes, and textile processes.

At the same time, drawing on the advanced experience at home and abroad, the traditional cleaning method is replaced by the physical dust removal method, which ensures the authenticity of the color of the cultural relics to the greatest extent.

  Through scientific protection and restoration, the flexibility and strength of cultural relics have been greatly improved, the shape can be better restored, and the patterns can be well displayed, meeting the requirements for long-term preservation, exhibition and research.

During the project acceptance, the expert group believed that the team used technology to drive protection and restoration under the circumstance that the project was difficult and heavy, and implemented it accurately, and the restoration effect reached the domestic advanced level.
