It is noted that the agreement was signed in Moscow on March 13, 1992.

On May 24, the State Duma denounced an agreement on guarantees of the rights of citizens of the CIS member countries in the field of pension provision.

The agreement on guarantees of pension rights assumes that pensions are assigned and paid by the state of permanent residence of a person, regardless of his citizenship.

This takes into account the entire length of service and earnings acquired in the territory of the USSR before 1992, as well as in the territory of the participating countries since 1992.

The parties to the agreement, apart from Russia, are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
