Putin signed the law on the abolition of the age limit for military service under the contract

The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

“Citizens (foreign citizens) over the age of 18 have the right to conclude the first contract for military service,” the law says.

Prior to this, the age limit for the first contract was 40 years for Russians and 30 years for foreign citizens.

Earlier, the relevant law was approved by the Federation Council.
