“Taking into account the previously given instructions, to analyze the level and dynamics of prices for the main types of agricultural products and food products in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the Far Eastern Federal District,” reads the list of instructions to the government published on the Kremlin website.
Putin instructed to take measures "to narrow the gap in relation to the average levels in Russia in prices for the main types of agricultural products and foodstuffs" in the regions of the Far East.
In January, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree to send an additional 5 billion rubles for discounted air tickets for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District in 2021.
