“With regard to the proposal of the Ukrainian leadership, President Zelensky, recently the current leadership of Ukraine has taken a lot of steps that are destroying Russian-Ukrainian relations,” he said.
Putin noted that if Zelenskiy wants to start restoring relations, then Russia will only welcome it.
“If we are talking about the development of bilateral relations, then please, we will receive the President of Ukraine in Moscow at any time convenient for him,” the Russian leader said.
Earlier, the Kremlin said that there must be prerequisites for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky.
