“Against the general background, the number of criminal cases initiated, the manifestation of violence, cruelty and other elements associated with this terror, which was unleashed by the so-called civilians, the figures speak for themselves, this is also an objective indicator that a very serious radicalization has taken place,” he said.

According to him, the protesters have lost their "sense of reality."

"They crossed this line when they do not understand that their actions are, in fact, terror with all the ensuing consequences and responsibility," he added.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Yuri Karaev, said that a second wave of protests was being observed in the republic.

As noted by the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus is beginning to face terrorist threats.

According to the president, the protesters "have already entered the railroad and are beginning to block the automation and close the rails."
