Professional baseball started its season without spectators in 2020 when the Corona 19 crisis began, and last year, only 10% of the metropolitan area and 30% of the non-metropolitan area received spectators, and the opening game was played.



However, this year, as the government eased quarantine guidelines, admission to the baseball field became possible regardless of whether or not vaccination was administered.



Suwon KT Wiz Park, where the match between the defending champion kt wiz and the Samsung Lions was held, attracted more than 10,000 spectators after a long time.



It is the first time in two years and six months since the match between kt and NC Dinos on September 28, 2019 that more than 10,000 fans entered Suwon KT Wiz Park.



Today (2nd), around the stadium was full of baseball fans who wanted to buy tickets on the spot two hours before the game started.



Fans filled the infield spectators before the match and enjoyed cheering on the spot.



Even at the baseball stadium concession stand, many fans lined up to enjoy, and as orders flooded, the merchants screamed joyfully after a long time.



About 16,700 spectators flocked to the Gwangju match, which drew attention as the KIA Tigers' return ace Yang Hyun-jong and LG Twins' new foreign pitcher Adam Plutko met.
